Harvest Imaging focuses on delivering services in the fields of teaching, coaching and training to people fresh in the digital imaging world.

Harvest Imaging is founded by Albert Theuwissen, who has 30+ years of experience in digital imaging.

Digital Imaging

Looking back over the last decade, digital imaging has made a tremendous progress :
  • digital still cameras became affordable to the consumer market and are being used by every tourist,
  • the largest commercial growth ever in semiconductor business came from mobile imaging applications,
  • new professional applications became possible, e.g. digital cinematography, non-invasive surgery, high-speed industrial applications, etc.
Technological image sensors developments in combination with more powerful companion processing chips will open new markets, such as imaging in automotive applications and in ambient intelligence.

Services

The services delivered by Harvest Imaging are aiming to support people that want to keep up with this rapidly growing digital imaging technology. Harvest Imaging focuses on :
  • teaching public and in-house courses specifically developed to bring people 'fresh' in the imaging world up to speed with the today's technology and applications of solid-state image sensors and camera systems,
  • training of more advanced imaging engineers by means of offering the most advanced imaging course available. The course will include hands-on exercises and measurements,
  • coaching imaging engineers with their daily work in digital imaging (advice during the specification, design, evaluation, qualification phase of the project, selection of design house, selection of fab, etc.).
All activities taking place between the push on the camera button and the moment the picture taken can be observed will be the subject of the services delivered by Harvest Imaging.
